Back after a long break: Estée Lauder Double Wear

I have not posted anything in a long time. I got a little bit distracted by work. Aside from touring around the UK as a performer for 16 months I have also been running my own business whilst at home in Glasgow. But what better way to get back into blogging than to write about my current favourite product.

Having suffered with adult acne for many years, I have constantly been searching for the perfect foundation. Although my breakouts are now much less frequent thanks to the wonders of modern medicine, I still have a bit of scarring and just a general uneven skin tone. I have been looking for a foundation that will cover this and the odd spot without getting flakey or encouraging more breakouts as some foundations I have used in the past have.

I know that many people have treasured this for years but I was late to the party. I was always a little nervous to spend so much on make up that might not work for me, and that I might end up shoving away to the darkest depths of my make up collection. However, after spotting this in The Cosmetic Company store in the York McCartherglen, I decided to give it a go.

Once home on an Easter break, friends commented on how good my skin looked and I put this down to the foundation.
Here's a run down of all the reasons why this foundation is so good:

-lasted all day even when doing 3 shows a day and lifting sets on the warmest of summer days in London.
-actually matches my super pale skin (I use what the lady in the shop told me is the palest shade-1N2 ECRU).
-I would say it is full coverage although I don't think it feels too heavy.
-Goes on so smoothly.
-Covers my acne scarring! Yay!

The only thing I don't like about it, is that there is no pump so I feel that I have wasted a lot of product pouring it onto my hand.

If you are looking for a full coverage foundation then I would highly recommend this!

What's your favourite full coverage foundation?

Love,

Fi xx
